Why Should an African Comic Be Praised?

A Comic book has pertraited to gain immense popularity in decades. When we talk about Dwayne McDuffie’s and Gardner Fox's work on Justice League, they have totally nullified that any villain can not be strong enough to come in the way of justice. The cartoon shows many characters who have different powers and they join each other to get associated in fighting crime, villainous powers or, whosoever is a threat to mother earth. Comics have always done well whether they are conceived by a villain or many number of villains.

The success of superhero generic stories around the world also questions the representation of diversity which gets its answer with a black superhero in Nigeria in the heroic world of comics dominated by Western heroes and comic makers. Many young African artists from Nigeria and South Africa have made numerous characters and comic story strips in creating comics for Africa to gain local attention, so superheroes can be a way of moralising kids and teens and develop creativity in them. Kids like to draw rough pictures and sketch their favourite cartoons and they can also become good sketchers if they see the formation of new characters by these artists.

Modern fictions should entertain and moralise kids to give equal participation in the working of the country or at least give smiles on their face. Marvel’s first black superhero was an African, Black Panther is the name of the character. What does a superhero do? A superhero is a heroic character who possesses supernatural powers but lives as a common man, between the public he is either masked or dressed in his particular dress through which he is identified. He can alone defy crime, motivate the audience in fighting with the villains. He has the sole motto of making his world safe and disorienting any wrong doings in his surroundings.

Fiction also depicts a female superhero, as in Justice League as Wonder Woman, which can fight for the rights of people and is praised as a leader and good character in the comics. American comic books have used such characters since the 1930s in their stories. In the original or by default in comics, the characters do not require a supernatural power to be deemed as superheroes. They love people and the love is reflected on them. They have received the powers for protecting people which many have earned because they wanted to protect people from the evil will.

An African comic in Nigeria also presents them as a hero with extraordinary powers which is skillful or successful with his thoughts and way of action. Tag Comics has also published some exceptional characters which tell different stories of our social engagement and disguise caused by some mistreatment by others. We can certainly see our heroes facing such situations and challenging the chronological order to prove the better in them. Some superheroes can use their powers to counter crime daily while also combating threats against humanity from supervillains. One of these supervillains ought to be the superhero's archenemy.

African comics has also joined the race for making class comics which can be liked by many readers. The comics have brought a culture with it and they change the traditions of reading a story book by kids which do not have a depiction of what even their hero looks like. It is good to give an idea of what their comic characters look like.
